When the power goes out, the work doesn't stop. You put your headlamp on.
This heavy-weight, street-ready hoodie is a tribute to the "get-it-done" grit of Search and Rescue and EMS crews who show up when the world goes dark.
The Story Behind the Design
In 1909, a nine-year-old boy watched two men drown in the Roanoke River while a helpless crowd threw branches—nobody knew how to help. Nineteen years later, that boy, Julian Stanley Wise, and nine coworkers founded the Roanoke Life Saving and First Aid Crew—the nation’s first volunteer rescue squad. Their kit was a $3 tackle box; their first vehicle, a donated hearse.
Ninety-six years later, Hurricane Helene hit North Carolina. When generators failed at Cleveland County EMS, the Special Operations Team didn’t quit—they worked through the night by the glow of their headlamps. They waded into the flooding Broad River, rescuing seven adults, three children, and two dogs. One paramedic, Gabe Wilson, stayed on the line with his team while his own home lay in ruins.
The power went out. Then the backup generator went out. So they put on headlamps.

This is likely the softest hoodie you'll ever own, featuring a convenient front pouch pocket and a warm 3-panel hood for chilly evenings. Built with a structured, high-quality face, it’s a classic streetwear piece.
